Halifax Marketplace Pickup: Facebook Marketplace Delivery Across HRM, Dartmouth and Bedford

Marketplace pickup is available across the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), including Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville and Cole Harbour. A driver collects the item from the seller and delivers it to your home, with planning for hills, bridges and older buildings.

Halifax Geography Shapes the Route

The MacKay and Macdonald bridges link Halifax and Dartmouth, and traffic builds at rush hour. Halifax's peninsula has steep streets and tight on-street parking, so drivers plan loading zones in advance. Older walk-ups near Quinpool Road and the North End often have narrow stairs.

Popular Halifax Routes

Student Season

Halifax has several universities, including Dalhousie, Saint Mary's and Mount Saint Vincent. Late August and early September are the busiest weeks for Marketplace pickup, so book early.

Weather and Fog

Coastal fog, rain and snow can slow deliveries. Wrapped items and enclosed vehicles protect your purchase.
